Rolling bearing assembly in vacuum equipment

No matter what kind of mechanical equipment and vacuum pump assembly, will encounter the assembly of common parts and special parts, respectively described.

Assembly of rolling bearing: when rolling bearing is fitted with interference fit, the bearing race will deform. For example, if the diameter of the inner ring increases, the diameter of the outer ring decreases, thus reducing the radial clearance between the raceway surface of the race ring and the ball. If the installation is not correct, the clearance will be too small, so the bearing ball may be stuck, affecting the normal operation of the bearing.

There should be no clearance between the bearing inner ring and the shaft and between the outer ring and the bearing box, because the shaft cannot reach the required centering accuracy.

Generally, the heating temperature of bearing can be selected in the range of 60 ~ 100 ℃, because the tempering temperature of bearing is between 150 ~ 180 ℃. If the heating temperature exceeds 100 ℃, it is easy to cause tempering. Put the heated bearing on the shaft quickly and tap it in with a hammer.

When the outer ring of the bearing is turned by hand, the assembled rolling bearing should be smooth without jamming and noise. Also use a feeler gauge to check whether the contact between the end face of the seat ring and the shaft shoulder is tightly attached to the shaft shoulder, and at the same time, it does not resist the chamfering. The deflection of the bearing on the shaft is a serious defect, which should be solved by investigating the causes.
